Michelle Stephenson, Director

Michelle and her husband Larry live in Fincastle and have three children: Mallory (a junior at Washington & Lee University), Brad (a junior at James River High School), and Julianna (a 7th grader at Central Academy Middle School).

She has a BA in English from Roanoke College and has been a consultant/writer for pharmaceutical and medical publishing companies for the past 20 years.

Michelle is passionate about growing God’s kingdom. She began attending Orchard Hills Church in 2003 and has been a leader at the church for the past 10 years. During that time, she played a significant role in planting two new churches: Restoration Church in Salem in 2012 and Rockbridge Church in Lexington in 2015. She is still involved with both churches and has loved watching them grow.

Michelle is also passionate about education. She has served on Botetourt County’s Advisory Board for Gifted Education for the past 9 years and has been the chair for the past 2 years. Additionally, she is currently serving on the advisory board to develop the Botetourt County Public Schools Comprehensive Plan for 2016-2021.

She is thrilled to be the director of Orchard Hills Day School, because she wants every child to know the love of Christ. She is so excited to see what God will do in and through OHDS.
